Sion Charity Home was started a Home for mentally and physically challenged men and women on June 1996 at the initiative of Rev. Fr. John Joseph CST, with the permission of the Provincial Superior, in a small plot which was donated him. Later St. Joseph’s province purchased 1.5 acres of land adjacent Sion Charity Home and constructed two storied building in which the Sion Charity Home is now functioniong. Sion charity home was made a branch house of our Congregation on 9th May 2008 by Mar varkey Cardinal Vithayathil, Arch Bishop of Ernakulam-Angamaly.
